Commercial EPC
BLC Property Services has qualified Energy Assessors to complete commercial EPC’s. Since January 2009 commercial premises have required an Energy Performance Certificate if they are to be marketed for sale or rent.
Commercial EPCs are now enforceable by law; Trading Standards Officers now have the power to issue fines for the failure to produce an EPC. These fines range between £500 and £5,000 depending on the properties rateable value and you will still be expected to have an EPC issued.
