Floor Plan

A Floor Plan in London is a diagram that shows the layout of a property, usually from a top down view. A Floor Plan is produced for each floor with details in where stairs, windows, radiators are located.

Floor Plans can be adapted to different needs, for example, a building under construction would require a floor plan that shows where radiators, windows, doors and any other essential fixtures. Buyers or tenants would not need all this information, as useful as it is. Adding domestic items such as sofas, beds, televisions etc would make the floor plan aesthetically pleasing and therefore increase a property’s attractiveness.

A Floor Plan is usually drawn to scale, providing a range of dimensions. All floor plans should have dimensions for rooms, though more detailed floor plans include dimensions for wall thickness, windows and doors, cavities etc.
